Spectator Policy 2024-2025
· Only coaches, student-athletes, and managers listed on the PSAL website will be granted access to the building and be allowed on the sidelines. Visiting teams must be accompanied by their coach to enter the building; otherwise, the team will have to wait in the vestibule at the main entrance until their coach arrives
· All visitors must enter Edward R. Murrow High School from the E17th street entrance.
· Murrow students will be allowed to enter games to spectate upon showing their school ID at entry.
· Parents of visiting student-athletes may attend but must provide a government ID and sign in at the security desk.
· Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to attend and will be denied entry.
· Seating is limited in all of our gymnasiums. Please refrain from bringing outside food/drinks into the gymnasiums.
· All spectators are to remain in the designated spectator seating area during the game and intermission(s). Spectators may not stand on the sidelines, in the corners of the gymnasium/field, or infringe on the court/field in any way.
· Anyone who exhibits inappropriate behavior, which includes, but is not limited to, use of profanity, verbal/physical harassment of coaches, players, officials, or spectators will be escorted out of the building at the discretion of the Athletic Director or ERM Administration/Staff and School Safety agents. DOE students exhibiting such behaviors may also face additional disciplinary consequences in accordance with the NYC discipline code. The Athletic Director and ERM Administration reserve the right to deny entry to future PSAL events to anyone who exhibits any of the behaviors described above.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in being removed from the event. No exceptions.
